I am still alive, but a normal job and a hobby-carpenter mission on the weekends have taken out most of my blogging insipration and blogging energy. But the project has now reached the summer milstone. Almost where I planned and the long-weekends in May came in handy.
Kitchen has now been equipped with a birch wood floor, where the actual raw material come from the Storm Gudrun, that was converted to wood floor in a factory my native hometown. The ceiling is painted and the walls are white, with two painted in terra cotta colour. Looking forward to put together the 10+ Ikea chairs in the garage and the tbale with 4 extra inlay parts.
The hall has been equipped with a wall of friends! The signature design of the cottage is now a stone wall, that now just is longing to put up pictures of the visitors that I hope will show up during the summer to relax in good company. A bunche of photo frames are waiting to get pictured up.
The relax room was the last one to get ready. Old chimney became white. Black tiles around replacing the grey/green ones, big difference! Now looking forward to assemble the sofa and the sleeping chair (Schäslong) and get an electrician to power up the place. Hardly no outlets yet.
Petrol colour spiced up the Bedroom and signature parts are the bookshelf and the integrated florescent tubes illuminating the wall. Box in place now just have to find the right luminares.
And now time to convert to female shopping logic. Since I have done so much work myself, I have "earnt" money to spend on feel good attributes. Wonder what might come first. And even though the lawn-mover will be one of the first things, it rarely qualify in the feel good category....
