Do you know who you really are - it might come out behind the wheel of a car

Having grown up 3km from a race track that used to host the biggest races of them all, Formula one and MotoGP, my motorized genes were influenced early on. So how do they stand and affect your feeling behind the wheel?

Having learnt how to start a car with a button instead of a key I thought I knew how to fire up an engine as long as it was not broken. Learnt the past two weeks that that is not the case. I rented a hybdrid car and it was the first time I ever drove such a car. Key in to the lock and pushed the button, waiting for the four cylinder sound to kick in. Nothing happened, tried once more, two colleagues in the car, starting to get embarassed. Then it started to move all of a sudden and just after the engine kicks in. Understood that the first meters was on battery only and I guess we have to learn that a car can be "on" without a sound going forward......

I have figured out that I am sort of an animal friend, one that like horses even though I am allergic to them. I do especially enyoying being the jockey and setting the pace when riding. The great feeling of having all the horses in the stable and sending all of them off at the same time. I have a preference for the onces grouped in six "barns" that tend to behave well at alla paces.

Riding also provide the great advantage of a naturally drying the hair. Letting the wiind blow through the hair and ending up with the naturally shaped hairstyle. Creating turbulence behind you and geeting a nice sun tan on the bald parts of the head that is coming out here and there....

And the horses' intelligence growth seem to follow morse law and are capable of host more and more new things as time pass by. Four illuminated rings that are turned into proper light when the darker parts of the day shows up. Well diciplined horses that by themselves detect when they are too close to the ones in front and reduce the pace. Of corse they are able to pull a cart and can hide the little knop automatically.

Well since you all have figured out that it is all about cars I am facinated by the remarkable performance by the Brawn GP formula one team. This years most remarkable sports performance of winning the two initial races shoulöd be seen in the light of:
* A team having trailed solidly at the back end of the grid for the previous two years
* A parent company decision to shut down operations including engine supply late last year
* Management buy-out completed three weeks ahead of the season start
* Missing out all pre-season training until the very last week-end
* Just a two race sponsorship in place befire shipping the cars down under
Hat of for Button and Barihello and the remarkable fighting spirt behind this achievements
