I have not come up with any good new year promises - yet! But one of the projects I plan to blog about is my ten most special trips. Below is a draft list that will be open for voting in January, and the real stories behind them will come later
January 1991 - 6 train changes in 60 minutes through Europe- 3 days after the guld war brooke out
May 1995 - Snowchaos in Sweden in May - resulting in 4 stop trip from ARN to SFO during 28 hours
July 1996 - Filling up a bus the peruvian way - leaving no feeeling of security to go with it.
November 1997 - Safari camping without the fence - with lions close by
September 2001 - First day of air travel to the US after 9/11 - spooky
December 2002 - Flying to Acapulco - in the cabin of a regular 727 flight
April 2003 - SARS in Taipei - was I affected or just a regular cold?
August 2004 - Around the world to 8 destinations in 12 days - perfect drug dealer travel pattern
January 2006 - a 5 hour transit in caracas - from the Airport to dwontown when THE bridge was damaged
June 2006 - Plane struck by lightning - a light experience
February 2007 - 1 400 km by car in 28 hours - for a cancelled Downhill race
