The terminnology road-warrior was invented by frequent bsuiness travelllers, but to date there has been a lot of unclarities what it really takes to be considered a road-warrior. Many believe that i can be done by car and boat, but here is the first Global Road-warrior definition, on the entry level, sometimes called Road-Warrior Jr
1. have visited more than 80 airports in your life
2. have your passport number stored in your mobile phone and/or PDA
3. know the last daily inter-continental connections, east and west, out of your home hub
4. have done “the loop” on business trip or as a back-packer in your youth.
5. is sick of waiting for your bag at the conveyor belt and/or waiting to report lost luggage
6. buy suits that are likely to be politically correct in a large number of countries and does not wrinkle easily.
7. have an Ethernet cable in your Laptop bag for use in hotels
8. eliminate in-flight noise with a noise-cancellation head-set
9. hate back-to-back overnight/red-eye flights from own experiences.
10. are fed up with the poor food offered by airlines in economy class
11. understand what 3-4-3 and 2-3-2 stands for in airline-lingo and knows immediately what aisle seat to get in what configuration to minimize disturbance from fellow passengers with small bladders.
12. have done three (3) flight legs in a single day to reach your destination
13. get re-booked to a better option that the default, offered by the airline, when delayed
