In which states have I been before – and which new ones are there to explore

Dear Blogreader,

In a country with 50 states it is easy to get the concept of country wrong.

I thought I should be able to pull off the capital city, abbreviation and nick name for states I have visitied, but was not even close.

Prize to the ones that nail all three for five of the listed states below. Rules and restrictions might applify for citizens and greencard holders.

• NY – Empire State - Albany


• CA - Golden State – Sacramento.


• IL - Prairie State - Springfield


• TX - Lone Star State – San Antonio


• GA - Peach State - Atlanta


• OK - Sooner State - Oklahoma City


• NJ - Garden State - Trenton


• FL - The Sunshine State - Tallahassee


• NC - Old North State - Raleigh


• WA - The Evergreen State - Olympia


• CO - Centennial State - Denver


• LA - Pelican State - Baton Rouge


• HA - Aloha State - Honolulu


• AZ - The Grand Canyon State - Phoenix


• MA - Bay State - Boston

If you did not make it you are in good company, neither did I at first. Just 35 to go and perhaps I should follow the easy to understand pace and do a state per day as hikers , hitchhikers and fishing fans have done in the past. or it might be down to 34 by then since an IN trip is already scheduled.
