Getting back to my working experience roots - And running around in coats and boots

It is a great feeling to check out from regular work for three weeks and juts do other things. After a hectic week and come X-mas shopping I left the city behind for some country life.
But before starting I took a detour to my cottage to do some final measurements. Good part is that more and more of my ideas is comming into place, Bad news is that it looks like I will touch more and more things during my renovation project. So let's hunt for new ideas and material.

The stock system for 1200 pallets of ceramic tiles that i did put in place 17 yeras ago is stilll in operation. Great to see that the restructuring ideas turned out to work in reality. Going through the whole display area a large number of new ideas was born
* Birch floor, with a lot of branch holes that is giving extra "life" to the floor. Decision made for the floor covering for kitchen and bed-room.
* The decoration stone that just had arrived in black colur, and was put up as I entered. This was immediately translated into the imaginated wall in the living room.
* Different variants of black tiles for the bathroom, more than one to choise froom. Will be hard to make a choice. But black is the olour
* Bubble bath or shower, the choice did not become easier with the Assymetric tub that could fit perfect.
* Washing machine was almost excluded from my future plans when I found a 33cm deep one, that could be hidden without consuming an enormous amount of space.
* Washbasins, do not come in one shape anymore!!! Round for corners, rectangular to be placed on a table. Not to mention the "Water mixer"
* A tile wall for the "Fond" wall in the bedroom is emerging as an attractive option. Could be shaped really nice.
* New types of electric switches that do not require wiring!!!!

After a lot of consultations, the plan need to be revised in some areas:
* My choice of electricity cables was ruled out as inadequate.
* Most likely getting back to square one and the need for pulling wire tubes.
* The installation of new floor require a complete removal of the lower part of the kitchen furniture. Uuuughhh!!

But the best part of this season, beyond cottage planning, is clearly the hanm sandwiches, with strong mustard and the Julmust that is a must to drink.

Too all of you that have taken the effort to find min blog, and further have chosen to return back when something more or less meaningful is typed down, I would like to whish you a Merry Christmas and a pleasant time together with friends and family.
