You can realise small and big dreams with paint - and do it yourself to avoid to faint

I have just started a new interesting journey, accompanied by an old friend that see the daylight in 1960's. It is not a she or he a, but a small red house that I know pretty well and that I have now agreed to take care of to realise on of my big dreams. At that age a facelift could come in handy.

Having spent a number of summers dealing with carpets, tiles and wood floor, I am looking forward to bring forward some old skills, that I otherwise would have been forced to outsource with hefty bills in return. As long as I stick to the basics with wallcover, floor covering and painting, it is just a long list of actions.

But who could initiate a body job in 2008 without thinking about new trends like
* How should the heating be arranged in order not to generate outragoeus electricity bills
* Does a green house require a solar panel for heating the warm water
* Should I deploy CAT6 or Plastic Fiber for the in-home wiring
* How should I arrange remote surveillance
* How should the lightning be arranged

Well before even starting to plan, I had 73 items on my to do list. I will be interesting if my egfforts will result in making the lixt shorter or if new things will pop up to secure that it is always will be some classic wooden trim left before completion. I have decided to give it a couple of weekends over the winter to do some basic tuning and look forward to relaxing when the spings is brought to the new neighbourhood.

After having spent a part of the Sunday with an investigate of the sewer system, I am quite convinced that I will welcome the new installations to be provided within shortly. That smelles like good news to me.....

How can you even think about wires in the house? The future is wireless!
